Difficult in the Evening Sky Earlier this year, Venus entered the evening sky, but as with Mercury, it will be lost, low in the sky because of autumn’s low angle of the ecliptic in the northern hemisphere until the very end of this year. Venus will become a spectacular evening object as 2025 begins. Although the planet is quite easily visible at twilight, a careful observer also can see Venus during the daylight hours.
